I buy sliced almonds a...Sarah here is a snack tip. I buy sliced almonds and then every day when I need a snack I take a handful and toast them.. either in the oven or in a toaster oven. Toast until light brown on both sides. Then I put them in a little dish and eat one at a time. Because they are sliced they take you longer to eat and you can eat more. They are really tasty so much better then just plain almonds.. toasting bringso ut the flavor. I am amazed how they fill me up.. I am totally full for hours after a snack. It is my new addiction of late. YOu can also put them on all sorts of things. I try and do stuff like adding ground turkey to salad, or eating tuna or chicken salad wraps. Almonds are good, and quinoa is a really tasty grain that has a fair amount of protein as well. By the way, I hope you don't think I'm some crazy stalker - I've been reading your other blog (45 degrees) and I found this one and you happen to be doing all the same things I'm trying at the moment too. Right down to suddenly wanting to become a runner depsite never having been one my whole life.
